Victoria assures Nicolás, Fernanda, Antonieta, Federico and Eugenia that she and her father are going to leave them in ruins and that Nicolás is to blame for daring to threaten Hilario. Hilario seeks out Hansen to ask him to help him open a bank account for Florencia as if she had been left by Rosendo. Florencia offers Hilario a new way to make the Alcoy's lose money, but this time she wants a share of the money Guanipa is going to make in the deal. Despite being at loggerheads and full of rage, Nicolás and Victoria let themselves be carried away by their feelings and kiss passionately without being able to avoid it.
